プライバシーポリシー

株式会社ドットインストール（以下、「当社」といいます。）は、本アプリケーション「ときどき日記」（以下、「本アプリ」といいます。）における、お客様についての個人情報を含む利用者情報の取り扱いについて、以下の通りプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」）を定めております。なお、お客様が未成年の場合は、保護者もしくは後見人の承諾を得た上で、本アプリを利用するものとします。

1. 取得する利用者情報とその取得方法

本ポリシーにおける「利用者情報」には、個人情報の保護に関する法律（以下「個人情報保護法」）にて定義される「個人情報」および「個人関連情報」が含まれます。当社は以下のような利用者情報を適法かつ公正な方法により取得します。

1.1. お客様にご提供いただく情報

  1. お問い合わせフォーム利用時のメールアドレス、お問い合わせ内容

1.2. アプリ利用時に自動的に取得される情報

1.2.1. 日記データ（デバイス内保存）

  1. 日記データ（日記本文、添付画像、スタイル・エフェクト設定、投稿日時等）
  2. アプリの設定情報（通知設定、表示設定等）

1.2.2. 購入情報（Apple社管理）

以下の情報はApple Inc.によって管理されます。

  1. プレミアムプランの購入状態および購入履歴
  2. App Store決済に関連する情報

注：当社は購入状態の確認のみを行い、決済情報は取得しません。

1.2.3. 使用状況データ（Apple社管理）

以下のデータはApple Inc.によって収集・管理されます。

  1. 製品の操作（アプリUI操作、ボタンクリック、スクロール情報、画面遷移等）
  2. アプリの利用頻度、利用時間、セッション情報
  3. 機能の使用状況
  4. その他のユーザーアクティビティに関するデータ

注：当社はこれらのデータを直接収集せず、Apple社から統計情報として個人を特定できない形で提供される場合があります。

1.2.4. 診断データ（Apple社管理）

以下のデータはApple Inc.によって収集・管理されます。

  1. クラッシュデータ（クラッシュログ、エラー情報等）
  2. パフォーマンスデータ（起動時間、応答時間、メモリ使用量等）
  3. デバイス情報（OS版数、デバイスモデル、画面解像度等）
  4. アプリに関連する技術的診断を測定する目的で収集されるその他のデータ

注：当社はこれらのデータを直接収集せず、Apple社から統計情報として個人を特定できない形で提供される場合があります。

1.3. 取得しない情報

本アプリは以下の情報は取得しません。

  1. 氏名、電話番号等の個人を特定する情報（ただし、お問い合わせ時のメールアドレスを除く）
  2. 正確な位置情報
  3. 広告識別子（IDFA等）
  4. 連絡先情報

2. 取得したデータの利用目的

当社は、お客様から取得した利用者情報を、以下の目的のために利用いたします。なお、利用者情報の取得の際、以下の目的に該当しない個別の利用目的をお客様に通知し、同意を求める場合があります。

2.1. お問い合わせ情報の利用目的

  1. お客様からのお問い合わせへの回答
  2. アプリに関するサポート対応
  3. お客様への連絡（必要な場合のみ）

2.2. 日記データの利用目的

  1. 日記投稿状況の記録と表示
  2. 日記投稿を促すための統計情報の提供

注：日記データはお使いのデバイス内にのみ保存されます。

2.3. 購入情報の利用目的（Apple社管理）

  1. 追加機能へのアクセス提供
  2. 購入状態の確認と同期

注：当社は購入状態の確認のみを行います。

2.4. 使用状況データの利用目的（Apple社提供統計情報）

Apple社から提供される統計情報は、以下の目的で利用されます。

  1. アプリの機能向上とユーザー体験の改善
  2. 新機能の企画・開発
  3. ユーザーインターフェースの最適化
  4. アプリの利用傾向の把握

注：これらは個人を特定できない統計情報として利用されます。

2.5. 診断データの利用目的（Apple社提供統計情報）

Apple社から提供される統計情報は、以下の目的で利用されます。

  1. アプリの安定性向上とバグ修正
  2. パフォーマンスの最適化
  3. システムエラーの特定と解決
  4. アプリの品質向上
  5. 技術的な問題の診断と改善

注：これらは個人を特定できない統計情報として利用されます。

3. データの第三者提供

3.1. 第三者への提供の基本方針

当社は、個人情報については、個人情報保護法その他の法令に基づき開示が認められる場合を除くほか、あらかじめお客様の同意を得ないで、第三者（個人情報保護法に定める「第三者」をいいます）に提供しません。ただし、次に掲げる場合はこの限りではありません。

  1. 当社が利用目的の達成に必要な範囲内において個人情報の取り扱いの全部または一部を委託する場合。
  2. 合併その他の事由による事業の承継に伴って個人情報が提供される場合。
  3. 国の機関もしくは地方公共団体、またはその委託を受けた者が法令の定める事務を遂行することに対して協力する必要がある場合であって、お客様の同意を得ることによって当該事務の遂行に支障を及ぼすおそれがある場合。
  4. その他、個人情報保護法その他の法令で認められる場合。

3.2. 第三者サービスとの連携

本アプリでは、以下の第三者サービスを利用する場合があります。

3.2.1. Apple Inc.（使用状況・診断データ）

3.2.2. RevenueCat（課金管理）

注意：これらのサービスには、サービス提供に必要な最小限の情報のみを提供し、個人を特定できる情報は含まれません。

4. 個人情報の訂正及び削除

当社はお客様により、個人情報の訂正、削除、利用停止を本アプリ内の「お問い合わせ」メニューから求められた場合には、お客様ご本人からのご請求であることを確認の上で遅滞なく必要な調査を行い、その結果に基づき、個人情報の内容の訂正、削除、利用停止を行い、その旨をお客様に通知します。なお、合理的な理由に基づいて訂正または利用停止を行わない旨の決定をしたときは、お客様に対しその旨を通知します。

5. 利用者情報の管理

当社では、取得した利用者情報を、限られた従業員のみがアクセスできるサーバーに保管し、個人情報保護法及び本ポリシーに従って適切に管理いたします。また、利用者情報を安全に管理するため、利用者情報にアクセスできる従業員を限定し、従業員ごとにアクセスできる利用者情報の範囲を限定いたします。

6. 免責

以下の場合は、第三者による個人情報の取得に関し、当社は何らの責任を負いません。

  1. お客様自らが本アプリ上の機能または別の手段を用いて第三者に個人情報を明らかにする場合
  2. お客様がお問い合わせフォーム上に入力した情報、活動情報等により、期せずして個人が特定できてしまった場合
  3. 第三者が本アプリ外で個人情報その他の利用者情報を取得した場合
  4. お客様ご本人以外がお客様個人を識別できる情報を入手した場合

7. プライバシーポリシーの変更手続き

当社は利用者情報の取り扱いに関する運用状況を適宜見直し、継続的な改善に努めるものとし、必要に応じて、本ポリシーを変更することがあります。本ポリシーを変更する際は当ページにて公表させていただきます。

8. お問い合わせ

本ポリシーに関するお問い合わせは、アプリ内の「お問い合わせ」メニューからお願いいたします。

附則

  1. 本ポリシーは2026年01月10日より施行する。

Privacy Policy

Dotinstall, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") hereby establishes the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of user information, including personal information, in the application "Timeline Journal" (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). If you are a minor, you must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before using the App.

1. User Information Collected and Collection Methods

"User information" in this Policy includes "personal information" and "personal-related information" as defined by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as "APPI") of Japan. The Company collects the following user information through lawful and fair means.

1.1. Information Provided by Users

  1. Email address and inquiry details when using the contact form

1.2. Information Automatically Collected During App Use

1.2.1. Diary Data (On-Device Storage)

  1. Diary data (diary text, attached images, style/effect settings, posting date and time, etc.)
  2. App settings (notification settings, display preferences, etc.)

1.2.2. Purchase Information (Managed by Apple)

The following information is managed by Apple Inc.

  1. Premium plan purchase status and purchase history
  2. Information related to App Store payments

Note: The Company only verifies purchase status and does not collect payment information.

1.2.3. Usage Data (Managed by Apple)

The following data is collected and managed by Apple Inc.

  1. Product interactions (app UI operations, button clicks, scroll data, screen transitions, etc.)
  2. App usage frequency, usage duration, and session information
  3. Feature usage statistics
  4. Other user activity data

Note: The Company does not directly collect this data; Apple may provide it to us in the form of anonymized statistical information.

1.2.4. Diagnostic Data (Managed by Apple)

The following data is collected and managed by Apple Inc.

  1. Crash data (crash logs, error information, etc.)
  2. Performance data (launch time, response time, memory usage, etc.)
  3. Device information (OS version, device model, screen resolution, etc.)
  4. Other data collected for the purpose of measuring technical diagnostics related to the App

Note: The Company does not directly collect this data; Apple may provide it to us in the form of anonymized statistical information.

1.3. Information Not Collected

The App does not collect the following information:

  1. Personally identifiable information such as name or phone number (except for the email address provided during inquiries)
  2. Precise location data
  3. Advertising identifiers (IDFA, etc.)
  4. Contact information

2. Purpose of Use of Collected Data

The Company uses user information collected from users for the following purposes. When collecting user information, the Company may notify users of specific purposes not listed below and request consent.

2.1. Purpose of Use of Inquiry Information

  1. Responding to user inquiries
  2. Providing app-related support
  3. Contacting users (only when necessary)

2.2. Purpose of Use of Diary Data

  1. Recording and displaying diary posting status
  2. Providing statistical information to encourage diary posting

Note: Diary data is stored only on your device.

2.3. Purpose of Use of Purchase Information (Managed by Apple)

  1. Providing access to additional features
  2. Verifying and syncing purchase status

Note: The Company only verifies purchase status.

2.4. Purpose of Use of Usage Data (Statistical Information from Apple)

Statistical information provided by Apple is used for the following purposes:

  1. Improving app features and user experience
  2. Planning and developing new features
  3. Optimizing the user interface
  4. Understanding app usage trends

Note: This information is used as anonymized statistical data.

2.5. Purpose of Use of Diagnostic Data (Statistical Information from Apple)

Statistical information provided by Apple is used for the following purposes:

  1. Improving app stability and fixing bugs
  2. Optimizing performance
  3. Identifying and resolving system errors
  4. Improving app quality
  5. Diagnosing and improving technical issues

Note: This information is used as anonymized statistical data.

3. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

3.1. Basic Policy on Third-Party Disclosure

The Company will not provide personal information to third parties (as defined by APPI) without the prior consent of the user, except where disclosure is permitted under APPI or other applicable laws. However, the following cases are exceptions:

  1. When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
  2. When personal information is provided as a result of business succession due to merger or other reasons.
  3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government body, or an entity entrusted by them, in performing duties prescribed by law, and obtaining the user's consent would impede the performance of such duties.
  4. Other cases permitted under APPI or other applicable laws.

3.2. Integration with Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

3.2.1. Apple Inc. (Usage Data, Diagnostic Data)

3.2.2. RevenueCat (Billing Management)

Note: Only the minimum information necessary for service provision is shared with these services, and no personally identifiable information is included.

4. Correction and Deletion of Personal Information

When a user requests correction, deletion, or suspension of use of personal information through the "Contact Us" menu in the App, the Company will, after confirming the identity of the requester, promptly conduct the necessary investigation and, based on the results, correct, delete, or suspend the use of the personal information and notify the user accordingly. If the Company decides not to correct or suspend use based on reasonable grounds, the user will be notified of such decision.

5. Management of User Information

The Company stores collected user information on servers accessible only by a limited number of employees and manages it appropriately in accordance with APPI and this Policy. To ensure the safe management of user information, the Company limits the employees who can access user information and restricts the scope of user information accessible to each employee.

6. Disclaimer

The Company assumes no responsibility for the acquisition of personal information by third parties in the following cases:

  1. When a user discloses personal information to a third party using features of the App or other means
  2. When a user is unexpectedly identified based on information entered in the contact form or activity data
  3. When a third party obtains personal information or other user information outside the App
  4. When someone other than the user obtains information that can identify the user

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Company will periodically review the handling of user information and strive for continuous improvement. This Policy may be changed as necessary. Any changes to this Policy will be published on this page.

Supplementary Provisions

  1. This Policy is effective as of January 10, 2026.
